I walked into the dining hall and was very happy to see there was a hummus bar!!  There were baked pita chips and flatbread, olives, and peppers.  I got a wheat flatbread and put some hummus on my plate…spinach hummus, black bean & cilantro, white bean, and lemon garlic hummus.  I think I liked the black bean one the best, although it was difficult to tell.  There is a lot on my plate because I didn’t realize how many there were before I started piling it on!  I think I ate about 1/4 of a cup worth of hummus.  I had a cup of vegan tomato soup, a small golden delicious apple, and some green grapes.  I got a salad before I found the hummus and ended up not eating it.  I had a couple of the grape tomatoes off of it and one of the peppers.  I’m pretty satisfied :-)  (The apple and tomato soup pictures are from google…I guess my pictures didn’t take or something).      

I wasn’t able to post this morning because I went to the dining hall for more musousy oats (with sliced banana, tsp brown sugar, Tbsp raisins, and a splash of soymilk to help it cool down because I didn’t have time to wait) right before my 9:30 class!  They were better today though, but I got the same boring thing plus a cup of watermelon and a glass of soymilk!  I went to speech class, listened to my classmates give speeches, then studied more for my archaeology exam during my hour and forty-five minute break that is usually only an hour!  I couldn’t focus, but I think the test went pretty well!  After that I went back to the dining hall to pick up some lunch to take back to my room (29 passes left!).  I got a cup of 9 bean soup (I only counted 5 beans), 2 oranges, and a little 8 ounce bottle of water because that’s the amount you can get for one pass, which costs about $10.  What a rip off, huh?  So, I put together a lunch when I got back to my room.  The bean soup, an apple, blueberry silk again (don’t mind because I like these a lot), kashi honey sesame crackers, and a cup of yummy organic white tea!  Oh, and my multivitamin and B12 that I did not take this morning.  :-)  I am going to relax now until my 3:00 microbiology lab.  After that I will be on the bus heading home for the weekend because I don’t have class on Fridays :-)  I’ll have a snack, then head to the gym for a workout.  Can’t wait for some real food!  

I’m back already for lunch after a great workout (40 minutes ET 10 minutes treadmill–My Polar F6 said I burned 601 kcal!..not bad at all!) and a shower!  It was a quick one in my dorm of blueberry soy yogurt, kashi heart to heart (3/4 c) w/ soymilk(1/2 c), an apple, and a larabar chocolate coconut chew (my favorite)!  All together with a glass of water.  I haven’t had time for any tea today :-(  because I’ve been so rushed!  I hate being rushed.  My boyfriend will be here in a few minutes now to pick me up!! 

See you later for dinner.  I might not get to post until the am, though, and if I’m with my boyfriends family I probably won’t feel right taking a picture of my food :(  I’ll do my best though!  Have a great day everyone !
